Competitiveness in the World

Yesterday, the International Institute for Management Development released its new report of IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook. The 2007 result shows that this is the first time China, on 15th, overtakes Taiwan, which is on 18th. Just in my expection, Prof. Wu mentioned this in our class, and he gave me a meaning of expression like saying: "See? Aren't you willing to work in China?".

Whatever, the competitiveness report by IMD didn't surprise me. That was definitely predictable! Watching our politics, laws, educations, buildings, environments and PEOPLE, it's just like a piece of rusty iron. An old Japanese proverb said "There is no medicine to cure stupidity". The more stupid things Taiwanese did, the more I believe that.
