Can Love Forget All?

"Can love forget all?" This is the topic on today's debate. Classmates and teacher tried so hard to explain the abstract stuff.

It's really weird to talk about love with a crowd of people especially when majority of them are females. They talked about love in a perceptual way, and I don't really join them. I have a clarified idea about love but I don't have a chance to share my classmates. However, I don't expect all of them to accept my opinion.

According to Darwin's evolution theory, people act because they expect the benefit, or they will be extinct. Although people usually deny it, they really do that. People build a database to store each item's value or worth. An item can be one abstract idea or one concreate object. They calculate the value by multi-tracking consider their experiences or information which they learn before, and it can be changed anytime. Human being is the known creature that has the most powerful multi-tracking mind. People act when they notice the income is greater than outcome. However, the decision can be wrong, but people will modify the values in their databases to prevent them from doing something stupid again.

Back to the qeustion, can love forget all? Love is the specified one or one set of values in databases. Because people have many different experiences, they have varied aspect to a same thing. If someone thinks love is worth forgetting all, it is; otherwise, it is not. Simple, easy and clear.

Next time I hope we can talk more about overpopulation in class. That's the really critical topic we shall discuss. If you have any different aspect, please be generous and share with me.

Like you said, there is no right or wrong answer for this question. It depends on one's personal value. However, it is interesting that how men and women think differently of love. This reminds me of what one of my guy friends used to say to me all the time; he says, "women are sensational (or emotional); men are rational. However, when one man meet the woman, he becomes irrational." LOL What he says is so true (especially for innocent boys) that I have to agree with him. Sooo...don't just think, "women, you know./grin" :D

Okay. Here is the thing. The longer of a sentence, the easier you would make mistakes. I didn't really understand the 1st sentence in 2nd paragraph: "It's really weird that so many people talking about love together, especially most of them are females." It might make sense in Chinese but it's a little bit awkward in English. It can be clarified if you say, "It's really weird to talk about love with a group of people especially when majority of them are females." One trick is that you don't want to make a sentence too long. However, you do not want to make every sentence so short either. Otherwise, it sounds choppy when people read.

Next, I am not sure about this one :P but I think you should use "and" instead of "but" in the last sentence of the 3rd paragraph (can be wrong, "but" people..) because you already used however to emphasize that you will describe something which is opposite of what you said. Therefore, i think it would be better to use "and." Also, "people will modify.....stupid again" can be better modified to "people will modify the values in their databases to prevent them from doing something stupid again."

Then, the 2nd sentence in 4th paragraph. You do not use Because and so in the same sentence. You can only choose one of them. it's either "Because people have....., they have varied aspect"s" ..." or "People have.....so they have varied...." Uhm...one other thing, you do not need "," while using "so". "so" is used to connect two sentence, and when you use it, you will have to have subject in each sentence even if both subjects are the same. So you would have "people have......so they have varied..." as example.

The very last thing, in the last paragraph, I think it would be better to use controversial instead of critical. Critical is fine, too. However, I think controversial would be more fit here because it is specially used to relate to topics, ideas, or discussion.

It's like 2am and I'm still eating my just-cooked-to-eat kimchi pot and reading your "Can Love Forget All?" article. Maybe I am way too hardcore :D

I've modified my post. Thank you very much for the direction.

But I still insist I'm very rational, that's why I have so strong feeling on computer science.

It sounds you had a wretched boyfriend. That's too bad.

btw (aka By The Way)....the guy who said that is not my boyfriend. He might laugh to death if he knows someone says that XD Hahaha I must let him know he is such a wretched guy :D

Your class seems very interesting. Uhm...there was once I went to an ESL class when I first came to the States. However, my class had never done something like debating. I guess most of us were good enough to have such type of class work. Debate is a really good practice for speaking and analytical skills. In addition, different topics add more hue to the class, too. Your ESL program must be really nicely organized. Lucky You!

uhm...it looks like u haven't updated but that's okay. First of, when you use feel, you say "...have strong feeling 'OF' ..." but not 'on'. Second, I think I was trying to say "..were not good enough..." in my message -_-'''

That's pretty much about it. I remember you used to say that I am so lucky to be in the US. But, at the same time, I missed a lot of stuff, too. Uhm...to say it exactly, I didn't get to do things I wanted to in Taiwan so I actually envy you :D Perhaps you would think I should feel lucky and satisfied but still. I envy you :D

btw, how come you were so quiet yesterday?? or I talked too much?? XD And you looked tired, too. 眼袋很重喔...take care

I don't want to speak too much unimportant things unless someone asks me.

This is my final week in Cambridge School, and there are tons of works to do. I have said that I probably cannot update my blog very often, so that's it.

It will be a boring work to check my blog everytime getting online. If you remember to ask me next week, I can give you a wonderful solution.
