A Time-wasting Meeting

Gosh! Prof. Qiu asked us, the project team, to join an united project called iCast at Taipei Medical University. However, it was really wasting my time! This meeting just showed me how Taiwanese proffesors waste the education funds from redundant presentations and who-is-the-boss shows. Damn... they should be going to be a tutor in cram school, so fewer students will be under suffering.

Where are those smart guys? Maybe I was behaving too priggish. If so, just let me know, and I'll go to mend my ways right away.

The Necessay to Be In Charge

In the human body, which organ is in charge?

All the organs of the body were having a meeting, trying to decide who was in charge.

The brain said: "I should be in charge, because I run all the body's systems, so without me nothing would happen."

"I should be in charge," said the heart, "because I pump the blood and circulate oxygen all over the body, so without me you'd all waste away."

"I should be in charge," said the stomach, "because I process food and give all of you energy."

"I should be in charge," said the rectum, "because I'm responsible for waste removal."

All the other body parts laughed at the rectum and insulted him, so in a huff, he shut down tight.

Within a few days, the brain had a terrible headache, the stomach was bloated, and the blood was toxic. Eventually the other organs gave in. They all agreed that the rectum should be the boss.

The moral of the story?

You don't have to be smart or important to be in charge... just an *sshole.

Oh! I got it.

Are You Human?

Are you human?

Lol...

Chances Going Away

I suddenly realize why my life is so ordinary - always let the chances slip away. I just don't know whether I should take it, being afraid if it isn't worthy. Today, I did really miss a big change. It even change my life in ten years!

Someone told me to be more aggressive, and she might be right. I thought I was, but it seemed I was wrong.

We Are Behind

Recently, I'm really busy, bustling about my new courses and the seminar project. Chany found the seniors who worked on the same project are really "that's it". Actually, we have finished the last part of their report in our first two weeks. So, could we just hand in right now? Of course not... there is still a more surprising fact I found it yerterday that the Harvard University assigned the same project as a homework to their students. That was involving nesC, JAVA and network system programming. It's so reasonable the Harvard University is the top one.

In addition, Google is so generous! Picasa released more storage space for us! We have total 1GB, which could be stored nearly 4000 common JPEG pictures.

Where I Stayed

The is uncle James' house where I stayed with cousins Albert and Amy. The environment is really nice.

Albert and Amy has lived in America since they were five and three years old. I do envy their fluent English, but, actually, they have foreign accent on Chinese. It's a consolation for me. :D

Back from the U.S.

This is the the first weekend I came back to Taiwan. The trip was so nice! Although I have also been there when I was eleven years old, I could experience greatly.

The most impressive scene, in my opinion, isn't the grant canyon or America national part, but their residential areas. Actually, they're just like those beautiful things Asians could only read on fairy tales. The wide road, the grass, the trees and the flat houses with their smokestack, everything seem like so harmonious. In Taiwan, I can never find a place as pretty as it.

Besides where they live, there're too many advantages to describe them here. I'm glad to share my feeling about America if someone really be interested; otherwise, those ideas I feel about America will be revealed by my blogs, hiding in words.
